50 forskere, forfattere og kunstnere fra Norge, Danmark, Sverige, Finland, Storbritannia, Frankrike, Polen, Slovakia, Tyskland, Nederland, Belgia, Irland, Spania, Latvia og USA kom til Bergen 11-13. september 2008 for å delta i konferansen Electronic Literature i Europe.

ELMCIP: Electronic Literature as a Model for Creativity and Innovation in Practice

ELMCIP er et europeisk prosjekt ledet av førsteamanuensis Scott Rettberg som skal utforske kreativitet innen elektronisk litteratur. Prosjektet går fra 2010-2012.
