Personal promotion to Researcher code 1183

Researchers (code 1109) holding a permanent position may apply for a personal promotion to researcher (code 1183) based on a declaration of competence.

If you intend to apply for promotion to researcher (1183), first you need to complete the application form. Then you send the completed form by email to hrmn.nt@uib.no

When we receive your application form, we will send you an email with an invitation to upload your application in Jobbnorge. You submit the application, including enclosures and scientific publications via Jobbnorge by 1st May 2025.

The scientific qualifications required for personal promotion to Researcher 1183, are equivalent to those applicable to personal promotion to full professorship, (except the requirement pertaining educational qualifications applicable to promotion to full professorship (4.1.2)).
