The Welcoming Week at the Faculty of Science and Technology
The Welcome Week is for all new students (one-year program in informatics, bachelor's, master's and international students) and mainly takes place in the afternoons and evenings throughout the first week at the Faculty of Science and Technology.

The program for the Welcome Week is extensive and includes something for everyone. The program is for new bachelor's and master's students, as well as for one-year students in informatics.
Remember that the week is long and that you should also benefit from the daytime program. Take care of yourself, and don’t forget to stay hydrated and eat properly.

The DJ sets the mood from 19:30, leading up to the main artist taking the stage at 21:00. The artist will be announced during the summer. 18:00-22:00 | Get to Know Your City This is a great opportunity to explore Bergen’s nightlife! In groups, you’ll visit a selection of the city’s bars and clubs, where fun activities will be held throughout the evening. During this time slot, the committee associated with your study program will organize an activity for the new students. The goal is for you to get to know both the committee and your fellow students better. Detailed information about the event, including the location, will be provided on the first day of the Welcome Week. |

| 17:00-22:30 | Hallaien - concert Artists Kjartan Lauritzen, Kamelen and Sushi x Kobe are ready to deliver an evening full of energy and great atmosphere. At Hallaien, you'll meet other students from all universities, colleges, and vocational schools in Bergen. You’ll get an unforgettable introduction to Bergen, complete with a taste of the city's vibrant culture and music. Bring new and old friends and get ready for an epic conclusion to Welcome Week!

18:00-03:00 | Game Night - day 1 We invite you to Høyteknologisenteret for an active night filled with games and competitions! Bring your own equipment and play whichever games you like – whether it’s board games or digital games. All registered participants will be served a meal during the evening. Registration will open closer to the Welcome Week. |
