AI seminar for teachers at the NT faculty
We are pleased to invite you to a seminar at the NT Faculty focusing on the use of artificial intelligence (AI). The field is evolving rapidly, and many questions are emerging. In a short time, generative AI has changed how we think about learning, assessment, and academic collaboration. In November, the Malthe-Sørenssen Committee will release its first statement on assessment, and most contributions so far highlight the need for increased competence. What we do know is that AI is here to stay – and that students are already using it in their studies.
Main content
In this seminar, we will explore both opportunities and challenges: How can language models support better learning? Can we trust AI-generated feedback? What do the students themselves think? And perhaps most importantly – how can we work together to develop sound practices and guidelines for the use of AI in our courses? The seminar is aimed at teachers and academic staff, and offers space for professional input, discussion, and sharing of experiences.
