August Ødmann Borgmo is a ph.d.-candidate working with the research group for criminal law and criminal procedural law, as well as the research group for civil procedural law and dispute settlement. His thesis is about procedural filtering in criminal cases, when appealing a judgement from the courts of first instance (tingretten) to the courts of appeal (lagmannsretten).
