The latest imaging system at MIC, a Olympus VS120 S6 Slide scanner, is ready for use. It automatically acquires and patches images together to form large overviews of tissue sections or monolayers of cells. It can capture both brightfield and fluorescence and is equipped with air objectives in the range of 4-40x.
