PROBE is equipped for a wide range of proteomics analysis, from the identification of proteins present in a sample to comparison of protein expression profiles between different samples.

Expertise in experimental design, sample preparation, sample analysis, bioinformatics and data interpretation is available.

PROBE offers a wide range of global shotgun quantitative proteomics methods including SILAC, TMT Isobaric Mass Tags and various label free approaches. Targeted quantification via Paralell Reaction Monitoring (PRM) is also provided.

Protein Identification

The amino acid sequence of proteins in biological samples can be determined by the use of mass spectrometry.

Quantitative Proteome Profiling

Disease states can influence the protein expression. By quantitative proteomics methods we can identify and quantify these changes. A typical example is the comparison of proteins in plasma between a control group and a patient group to find specific disease marker candidates.

Targeted Protein Quantification

Protein quantification of a small set of proteins in a larger number of samples using Selected Reaction Monitoring (SRM). For example the verification of the expression differences between sample groups for disease marker candidates in a large sample set.
