Experimental Design and Datanalysis
Main content
Effective empirical problem solving is a key to successful empirical research. Statistical experimental design teach you the best way to collect information-rich data and is thereby a powerful tool to increase the efficiency of your experimentation. This course covers important steps for planning and conducting a data-collection process. Use of examples will be emphasized and it will be illustrated how graphical methods and statistical software can be used in the analysis of the collected data. Only modest knowledge in mathematics is needed.
The course will be given by associate professor John Sølve Tyssedal of Department of Mathematical Sciences, NTNU.
