Herbert Kitschelt is George V. Allen Professor of International Relations at Duke University. His research areas include comparative political parties and elections in established and new democracies, comparative public policy/political economy, and 20th century social theory.
In memory of Stein Rokkan, he will give the lecture «Citizen-Politician Linkage Strategies: Clientelism and Programmatic Cleavages» September 10th from 1215 to 14 at auditorium Egget at the Student Center. He is the latest of several internationally leading political scientists to give the lecture, a list that includes Robert Putnam (2011), Theda Skocpol (2002) and Adam Przeworski (2009).
