Inderhaug er overlege ved Helse Bergen og Haraldsplass Diakonale Sykehus. Han er spesialist i ortopedisk kirurgi og jobber primært med knekirurgi. Han leder Forskningsgruppe for Artroskopi og Idrettstraumatologi (FAIT) som jobber med pasientnære problemstillinger innen Ortopedi og Idrettstraumatologi.
