Ragnhild Dybdahl

Ragnhild Dybdahl is senior advisor of global health at Norwegian Institute of Public Health, associate professor of global mental health at the Centre for Crisis Psychology, University of Bergen. She is currently seconded to Africa CDC in Ethiopia.

Main content

Her research areas include mental health and psychosocial support before, during and after emergencies and early childhood development. She has been a humanitarian, diplomat and clinician and has held leadership positions in international development cooperation, humanitarian assistance and public health for more than 15 years with experience from e.g. Somalia, Bosnia, Guatemala, Vietnam, Niger and Sudan.

She is a PhD in psychology from University of Tromsø, Norway.
