GCF - Optimizing high throughput protocols and quality control steps

Main content

The Genomic Core Facility (GCF) has during the last year worked on optimization of high throughput protocols for a more streamlined NGS workflow with less bottlenecks in the lab. We are now using an automated mRNA-Sequencing protocol where we can perform libraryprep on up to 96 RNA-samples in one run on an Agilent Bravo Option B robot. In addition, we have invested in a new quality control system (Agilent TapeStation) in order to perform quality checks of large sample numbers in less time.

The Agilent TapeStation system can be accessed by our users after a short training and agreement with the core facility personnel.
