Collaboration

Postgraduate course

Course description

Objectives and Content

In this course the students will gain experience from group work in a stand-alone project designed in consultation with external partners. Each student´s role and tasks in the project are negotiated with the project partners.

In this course emphasis is placed on research, idea development and the design process. Students acquire real-world experience in developing and executing a joint project within a clearly delimited period of time and defined frameworks.

Students learn to work quickly, systematically and in a targeted manner by adopting relevant methods and tools to manage the project.

Developing interdisciplinary thinking and collaboration is key.

The project will be composite and have a complexity that provides challenges on different levels, also conceptually, where aesthetic, ethical and functional aspects are to be given careful consideration.
