Welcome to the Grieg Academy's opening concert in the University Aula
The Grieg Academy - dept. of music marks the opening of a new academic year with a project week for all its performance students. The project ends up in a big free concert on Saturday the 27th of August at 6 p.m.

The concert will take place in the newly restored University Aula, which also has brillint acoustics.
The program will show the great variety of the performance activities at the Grieg Academy. You will hear classical ensembles - strings, brass and woodwind - as well as jazz and traditional Norwegian folk music. The concert will culminate with an except from Carl Orff's masterpiece "Carmina Burana", featuring a large project choir, 2 pianos and 5 percussionists.
Entrance is free - welcome!
