A subset of the Biosciences Department, The Molecular biology division currently comprises 10 research groups with overlapping focus on molecular aspects of biology, ranging from basic research questions on evolutionary aspects of development, to studies of core biochemical and cell biological processes. Frequently these studies are directed toward advancements in industrial practices or providing greater understanding of medical, or health related conditions.
