Main content
Save the date September 30–October 1, 2024 for the 2nd Neuro-SysMed Annual Symposium!
We will prepare a varied program which represents the main topics being researched at Neuro-SysMed, namely the diseases dementia, ALS, Parkinson's disease and multiple sclerosis (MS). The program will feature international speakers who are renowned experts in their fields, as well as updates on Neuro-SysMed's research.
When: September 30–October 1, 2024
Where: Solstrand Hotel & Bad at Os, close to Bergen
Registration: through this link
Program: See the final program here
Budget: Although the registration fee will be subsidized, a fee will be required. Hotel room, board and conference will be included. The own contribution is NOK 3000 (ca. 262 Eur, currency rate dependent). This rate is subsidized by Neuro-SysMed. If you for some reason have any difficulties in laying out the 3000 through a credit card, please contact us to look into alternative payment options.
Open for talks: (now closed)
We will make room in the program for talks based on submission of abstracts, available for both senior and junior researchers. If you wish to do a talk, you need to click the appropriate boxes in the registration form, when available. A committee will then consider your proposal. Not that many will get a spot in the program for a talk, so note that poster should be an option for you, even if yor prefer a talk.
Open for posters: (now closed)
If you wish to present a poster, you need to click the appropriate boxes in the registration form, when available. If you wish to prepare already now, notice that preferable poster format is portrait (standing format) H120 x W85. You will also need to prepare a one page poster abstract in Word format, with the info: title, presenting author(s), author list and affiliations, and abstract, preferably with headlines Background, Objective, Methods, Results and Conclusions.
ECTS participance:
Students/PhD candidates must notice that the symposium is part of the research school course code “NEUROSYSM920 Seminars and Symposium”, and that to get the credits for attending, you also need to present your own research at the symposium, so either by talk or poster. Not that many will get a spot in the program for a talk, so note that poster should be an option for you, even if yor prefer a talk. You must also make sure to register for NEUROSYSM920 in StudentWeb.
Welcome!
