For a period of 3 weeks, with 6 contact sessions online, participants will familiarise themselves with Virtual Exchange as a pedagogical activity for engaging students in authentic intercultural collaborative projects with international partners. During the course, participants will read about, observe, and discuss the different aspects of running a Virtual Exchange project.
The Universities Lyon 1, Lyon 3 and Saint-Étienne, members of the Arqus European University Alliance, organize a Research Focus Forum (RFF) on the theme “Climate Change
and Biodiversity”. The 3-days conference will take place in Lyon in January 2022 (19-21). We invite academics and researchers from all career stages and all disciplines, coming from the Arqus universities to participate.

Among other activities, ARQUS will support joint doctoral training within the group of partner universities by
enabling site visits and joint activities. Eligible are doctoral groups with a common research topic that offer a
structured training programme for their doctoral candidates.
You can apply for a research stay at one of the ARQUS partner universities and receive funding for travel expenses.
The 18 October 2019 marks the beginning of the Arqus Alliance, as it was on this day that the Arqus Rectors’ Council was formally established in Granada. Two years have passed since then and we are proud of what has been achieved so far.
