Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) at the Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Bergen

Main content

The table below shows how AI can be used in different ways (A–H) in teaching and assessment. It is the responsibility of the lecturer/course coordinator/supervisor/department who decides which AI use is permitted, and this must be communicated for each individual course. For example, all levels of AI use may be allowed in a master’s thesis. On this webpage, you will find guidance on how to indicate that AI has been used. You should describe how AI was used at the beginning of the assignment/project so that it is clear to the reader/examiner.
