UiB events during One Ocean Week 2026
For the fourth time, One Ocean Week will be held in the middle of April – a week filled with exciting and entertaining events about our sustainable ocean in Bergen. On this page you will find an overview of UiB's events during the week. All events are free and open to everyone, except where indicated.

The University of Bergen is actively involved in various activities during One Ocean Week, which will be held for the foruth time from April 18 to April 24, 2026.
UiB has world-leading research communities in marine science, and many of our experts are engaged in different activities throughout the week. The University of Bergen is also behind several major events, both on campus and at smaller venues in downtown Bergen. Here, you will find an overview of our events, as well as events where researchers, educators, and students from UiB are participating. The overview will be continuously updated.
