Ingrid Azevedo is a Research Assistant at the Bergen Centre for Ethics and Priority Setting (BCEPS), within the Department for Global Health and Primary Care. She studied medicine at Faculdade de Ciências Medicas Santa Casa de São Paulo (FCMSCSP) and specialized in infectious diseases at Fundação de Medicina Tropical Doutor Heitor Vieira Dourado (FMT-HVD) in Manaus, Amazonas. She completed her Master's degree in Global Health from the University of Bergen in 2023, with an affiliation to the Centre for Climate and Energy Transformation (CET).
Her main research interests are environmental health, sustainable healthcare, health system transformation, infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, one health, planetary health, health system strengthening, priority setting, and the achievement of universal health coverage.
