Cnature Seminars: ”Imaging nature in contemporary art. An affective approach” - Benedikte Holen, MA in Art History.

Cnature Seminars is a series of seminars organized by the Cultural History of Nature Research Group (Cnature). 

Benedikte Holen is currently working as a freelance art educator at Bergen Art Museum and at Bryggens Museum in Bergen. Her MA-thesis, The affect of ecological art. Sensation, interpretation and politics (2011) is due to be published at BORA. Her interests include contemporary art and aesthetics, visual studies, politics and theory, as well as environmental and ecological art. She is also a member of the Cnature Research Network.

The seminar is organised as a cooperation with The Centre for the Study of the Sciences and Humanities (SVT) and is also hosted at their premises at Bergen University Campus.
