These field experiments manipulate the working conditions (e.g., different instructions, stressors or types of tasks) has on the performance or experiences of police academy cadets that perform a training task in the field or in a simulator. Individual differences have also been examined (personality traits, hardiness, coping syles, expertise). These studies have been done in collaboration with the Norwegian police academy in Stavern.
