This year’s Scientific Leader, Professor Terje Tvedt, kicks off the academic programme with a keynote lecture at 11:00.

New to the core programme this year is an excursion into the waterscape of western Norway. Leaving by ferry from Bergen, the participants will explore Hardanger and the impact rivers, fjords and glaciers have had on societies, communication and economic development.

BSRS is a joint effort by the Bergen University College, Chr. Michelsen Institute, Norwegian School of Economics (NHH), Uni Research, and the University of Bergen.
