Welcome to the University Aula in Bergen!
 

The new University Aula in Bergen opened in 2015 and is the grand hall for the University of Bergen and for Western Norway.

The University Aula is located in the newly renovated south wing of the Natural History Museum and can seat up to 350 people. The Aula hosts large occasions involving the University community, in addition to external organizations being able to organize debates, culture events and conferences.

Nine new honorary doctors at the University of Bergen

Kirsten Shepherd-Barr, Camille Norment, Mads Bryde Andersen, Christopher Aiden-Lee Jackson, Alberto Ascherio, Trond Petersen, Lynn Meskell, Jeanne C. Watson and Anne Larigauderie received the prestigious honorary doctorate from the University of Bergen on May 24.

Remembering the SDG Conference Bergen 2024

The 2024 conference consisted of both a digital day with talks and debates in English, where around 1300 people participated, and a physical conference day in Norwegian.

Åpningsmarkering BCEPS

"Better health for all – more fairly distributed"

On Monday 8 January, the official opening of BCEPS Centre of Excellence took place in the university aula. The centre will develop new methods and ethical frameworks to help decision-makers in ensuring a fairer distribution of health services. ​
