ELIXIR
ELIXIR - distributed infrastructure for biological data. ELIXIR unites Europe’s leading life science organisations in managing and safeguarding the increasing volume of data being generated by publicly funded research. ELIXIR is a pan-Europan research infrastructure for bioinformatics - storing life science data, providing tools and training to use it. It includes major life science databases such as UniProt and Ensembl.
Sigma2 provides services for high-performance computing and data storage to individuals and groups involved in research and education at all Norwegian universities and colleges, and other publicly funded organizations and projects. We also coordinate Norway's participation in international collaborations on e-infrastructure.
