If you experience symptoms such as a runny nose or eyes, persistent cold-like symptoms, or skin reactions after contact with animals, you should contact the occupational health service for assessment, treatment, and follow-up.
It is also important to inform your employer so that any necessary workplace adjustments can be considered.
Protective equipment should be available at the Animal Facility.
If you require additional protection, it is recommended to consider personal protective equipment, such as a powered air-purifying respirator (PAPR).Please contact the procurement department for information about purchasing agreements and ordering protective gear.
