Digital Birgitta

This project is developing several scholarly resources that will help researchers discover texts, networks, and manuscript images related to St. Birgitta and her reception in England, packaged together as DIGITAL BIRGITTA. 

Digital Birgitta will include:

•  An Omeka S repository collecting all the known instances of Birgitta’s Revelations and related texts and manuscripts that were known in medieval England;

• Network diagrams of the relationships between people, manuscripts, and texts related to Birgitta and her Revelations 

• Digital editions of shorter extracts of Birgitta’s Revelations, using IIIF-compliant images in a Mirador viewer
