Abstract

In recent past years, there has been an increasing interest in Energy Justice, following the path opened some years in advance by environmentalists, who have developed further the idea of Environmental Justice. One of the last contributions to the identification of the principles governing Energy Justice, is the book "Energy Justice and Energy Law". It has been published by OUP, and contains several contributions written by members of the Academic Advisory Group of the Section on Energy and Natural Resources of the International Bar Association. Professor Del Guayo has been the main editor of the project and will present in this UiB Energy Lab seminar the main findings of his Chapter, related to the fight against Energy Poverty and the promotion of Energy Access, from a legal perspective.
