Bjørn Sundland from BKK will give a follow-up presentation about his talk "Liquid hydrogen to decarbonize maritime transport in Norway"

Abstract

Aurora – a strong hub for hydrogen and green growth in maritime sector.
The Aurora project covers a new build liquid hydrogen (LH2) production facility at Mongstad, close to a Equinor refinery.
Through a cooperation with Wilhelmsen’s planned liquid hydrogen powered “Topeka” ro-ro vessels, the partners will distribute LH2 from Mongstad to bases across western Norway.
Aurora aims to develop a complete liquid hydrogen supply chain in Norway for commercial shipping.
