Are you a researcher unsure how to use LinkedIn or wondering if it even has any value for you?

 In this course, we will cover:

  1. How to create a strong LinkedIn profile, and what sections are important
  2. How to use LinkedIn to grow your professional network
  3. How to “train” your algorithm so that your LinkedIn feed becomes more relevant and interesting for you
  4. How to turn LinkedIn connections into real opportunities
  5. How to create an effective and engaging LinkedIn post

Presenter: Jana Wilbricht, Head of Communications (seniorrådgiver) at the Bergen Centre for Ethics and Priority Setting in Health (BCEPS), a Centre of Excellence in the Medical Faculty at UiB. Jana holds a PhD in Communication and Media from the University of Michigan and dual bachelor's in Global Development and Communication from Cornell University. She is from Germany, lived in the U.S. for 10 years, and now in Norway for 5 years. She is an avid user of LinkedIn, both personally and for BCEPS, and frequently holds workshops and gives conference presentations on science communication. 

This workshop is co-hosted by the BCEPS Early Career Research Hub (ECRH)
