For this open discussion meeting we invited profiled discussants from NGOs and the scholarly community to peer into the question of how 2015 can be understood as year of continuity or change in Norway's approach to refugee and asylum policy and debate. The imaginations and realities of what has been labelled the 'refugee crisis' is a core question in the IMEX-project. IMEX co-organized this meeting with Norsk Nettverk for Migrasjonsforskning and the meeting at Litteraturhuset in Bergen wad headed by Susanne Bygnes and Marie Louise Seeberg.

The discussants that contributed to our open meeting was: Nuray Yildrim Gullestad (Norwegian PEN), Ann-Magritt Austenå (NOAS), Jens Kjeldsen (UiB) and Helga Eggebø (Nordlandsforskning).
