On Thursday 18 April 2024, doctoral fellow and editorial member of Salongen - nettidsskrift for filosofi og idéhistorie, Emil Perron, met author Øyvind Aase at Litteraturhuset in Bergen for a conversation about the philosopher Arild Haaland.

Professor emerita Kjersti Fløttum was awarded the French Order of Merit (Ordre national du Mérite) on 28 November 2023 for her many years of work in promoting the bilateral relationship between France and Norway, her work as professor of French and researcher at the Department of Foreign Languages at the University of Bergen and her role as vice consul for France in Bergen.
