BECCLE får fem nye år (11.02.2016)
Senter for konkurransepolitikk (BECCLE) fekk løyving frå Universitetsstyret i Bergen til å halde fram til 2020. Den forlenga samarbeidsavtalen mellom NHH og UiB sikrar at institusjonane framleis har spisskompetanse på forsking og utdanning innan konkuransepolitikk.

Ein ny daglegvareportal vil styrke konkurransen mellom kjedene og føre til lågare pris for forbrukarane meiner Forbrukerrådet og Rema 1000. Professor Tommy Staahl Gabrielsen er heilt ueinig og meiner portalen i verste fall vil føre til dyrare matvarer.

I ein fersk evaluering blir Senter for konkurransepolitikk (BECCLE) omtalt som ein suksess. Evalueringskomiteen peikar på at senteret har eit høgt aktivitetsnivå og tverrfagleg samarbeid som stimulerer til solid forskingsaktivitet.
