Griegakademiets Tidligmusikk ensemble-klasse og instituttleder Frode Thorsen setter sitt preg på Studentersamfunnets «Samklangfunn» som denne onsdagen dreier seg om barokkmusikk.
The baroque is the age of sentiment and reason, of Bach, Handel, Newton and Hobbes. Baroque music is written to reflect and stir feelings – and to contain them within the frame of sense and gallantry. Musicians from Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra and the Grieg Academy Academy give you an evening introduced by baroque expert Frode Thorsen. The introduction will be given in Norwegian.
