Pandemic Centre's annual report for 2024

2024 was yet another exciting and busy year for the Pandemic Centre. Now you can read the annual report with a summary of our activities throughout last year.

In 2024, The pandemic Centre has placed strong emphasis on three themes: legally sound use of artificial intelligence (AI) for preparedness, communication between academia and the media and the inter-connectivity between climate and health through the establishment of the Climate Health Initiative (CHI). An overview of initiatives, research, education and innovation by the Pandemic Centre is features in the annual report for 2024. 

-To be better prepared for the next pandemic, we must continue generating evidence on the pandemic consequences and recovery, and building and maintaining trust among researchers, the media, health authorities, and civil society, says professor Esperanza Diaz, Director of the Pandemic Centre.
