Electronic Literature in Spanish and Digital Poetry Reading by Alexandra Saum-Pascual

UC Berkeley researcher and digital poet Alexandra-Saum Pascual will give a short presentation on Spanish-language electronic literature, and read from her digital poetry.

Alex Saum-Pascual is Assistant Professor of Spanish at the University of California, Berkeley, where she teaches Contemporary Spanish Literature and Culture (20th and 21st Centuries) and Electronic Literature (Digital Humanities). She is also part of the Executive Committee of the Berkeley Center for New Media. Her academic work on digital media and literature in the Spanish-speaking world has been published in Spain, Mexico and the United States. Her digital artwork has been exhibited in galleries and art festivals in the United States and abroad.

The Bergen Electronic Literature Research Group and the Research Group Latin America: Language, Literature, and Culture are pleased to co-organize this event. 

Saum-Pascual's presentation will be in English, and her digital poetry will be presented in Spanish with English explanations.
