Research at FDRG
The Fish Diseases Research Group focuses its research activity on characterization of pathogens (virus, bacteria, fungi and parasites) that infect wild and farmed fish - our emphasis is on the diseases of fish in aquaculture. Researchers in the group undertake studies that encompass a broad variety of subjects, such as the interactions between pathogens and host (immunology, pathology), spreading of pathogens (epizootiology), population genetics and evolution.
