Bjørn Blomberg with an award for Publication of the Year

The Faculty Day 2022 at the Faculty of Medicine, UiB took place on the 27^th of April. The award ceremony honored outstanding researchers from our faculty in different categories, including education and research.

Our colleague and member of the Research Group for Infection and Microbiology – Associate Professor Bjørn Blomberg was awarded the Prize for the Publication of the Year for the article “Long COVID in a prospective cohort of home-isolated patients” published in Nature Medicine.

This year two publications have received the prize – the second one was an article "Decompression with or without Fusion in Degenerative Lumbar Spondylolishesis" by Ivar M. Austevoll from the Klinisk Institutt 1.
