A grant provides funding to conduct break-through research, thereby laying the foundation for scientific, economic, political, social, cultural and/or technological innovation. Furthermore, a successful grant shows that the applicant is capable of creative and innovative thinking and is willing to lead novel research endeavors.
Every year the Research School in Information and Communication Technology invites to a seminar where the PhD candidates have the possibility to exchange research ideas and experiences, to build and broaden their research networks, and to improve their presentation skills.
The PhD education at II is organized under the Research Shool in Information and Communication Technology. Every year the school invites to a seminar where the students learn presentation techniques and about each other's research.
