Plant macrofossil drawings

These drawings and notes were made in pencil on file-cards, mostly in 1970 by Hilary H. Birks during a year in the Limnological Research Center, University of Minnesota, USA. They are intended as an aid to the identification of macrofossils in Quaternary sediments. Most of the material drawn was in the seed and fruit reference collection at the LRC, largely compiled by W.A. Watts. The file-cards were scanned by Ildikó Orbán in 2014.

The taxa are grouped into family and ordered alphabetically.
