Refresher Course in LAS – Program Overview
The refresher course in Laboratory Animal Science (LAS) is designed to update and maintain participants’ competence in accordance with current standards and regulations.
The program consists of three components:
1. Self‑study – Reading Material
Participants complete a set of assigned readings prior to the seminar. The material provides updated knowledge on relevant regulations, ethical considerations, and best practices in LAS.
2. Seminar – On‑site Participation
A mandatory in‑person seminar offering interactive discussions, case-based learning, and clarification of key topics introduced in the self‑study phase.
3. Course Test
A short assessment to verify understanding of the course content.
Evaluation and Completion Requirements
To successfully complete the course, participants must:
