How to interview children in connection with judicial investigations

Main content

Vivian Ngo, a 5th year psychology student, is working on a project associated with “Barnehuset” in Bergen. Vivian has conducted a literature review of literature on “Barnehuset” ("The Childrens House", a governmental body) and/or "Children's Advocacy Centres" and interrogation of children. This literature review has laid the foundation for seven explorative, qualitative interviews with staff at the Children's Home in Bergen about their experiences and understanding.

The aim of the student project is to map and analyse the findings in a report, and preferably a published article in the long term. Senior advisor Unni Heltne is Vivian’s supervisor.
