Kick off for the course "Pandemic and crisis psychology"

This week, the Centre for crisis psychology initiated a new continued educational course focusing on human aspects of the pandemic. The course runs over six weeks and was fully booked within days. A second course is will take place later this fall.

The Center for Crisis Psychology offers an exciting series of courses that will provide participants with indepth knowledge and understanding of crisis psychology, common reactions, support and tools for coping. The focus is on vulnerable groups, employees in critical social functions, or employees who has experienced redundancies and unemployment due to the pandemic.

Professionals at the centre, in addition to external partners such as Samfunnssikkerhetens hus in Bergen municipality, share their experience and contributes with knowledge and lectures in this all-digital course.

The course series is funded as part of the government's measures for people laid off, or unemployed as a result of the corona pandemic with support from KompetansenNorge and Diku.
