This course is designed to familiarize students with the most innovative concepts that are taking place in archaeology. It reflects the most modern theories and newest examples from Europe and North America.

Students will be expected to not only listen to the lectures, read the readings and be willing to discuss the ideas and the data as well as try to create new innovations to be applied to Norwegian or other European archaeology.
