The status of USE:
the regional coordination centre on CCUS- and hydrogen related activity
For the first lunch meeting in 2020, professor Martin Fernø at the Department of Physics and Technology, UiB, will provide an overview of regional activities related to CCUS (carbon capture, utilization and storage) in the context of reduced anthropogenic carbon dioxide emissions and the need for rapid, wide-spread deployment of CCS infrastructure. An update from an ongoing UiB initiative to coordinate regional activities related to CCUS and hydrogen will be presented.
The seminar will be held in the Hellan-Hansen meeting room, Geophysical Institute (Allegaten 70), from 12:15 to 13:00 (we open the doors at 12:00). As always, it is free and open to all interested parties, so bring your lunch and join us for an interesting presentation followed by a Q&A session.
