Main content

Climate change is one of the greatest challenges of our times and society needs to adapt quickly. As far as UiB is concerned, the green transition starts with us. The University Board has therefore adopted a goal of achieving climate neutrality by the end of 2030.

A climate neutral UiB

In line with the ‘Master Plan for Space’, UiB is taking a systematic approach to developing a climate neutral real estate portfolio, within the constraints refurbishing older and listed buildings entail.

In the years to come, UiB’s building stock will be made more efficient and significantly rationalised. This will contribute to a more appropriate real estate portfolio that will contribute to lower GHG emissions from our buildings.

In this seminar we will get an update on this work with a few examples of ongoing and upcoming projects.

Webinar speaker: Steinar Sundberg, senior engineer at the Estate and Facilities Management division
