Natural Resources Management
The Department of Geography has designed a high quality online course in Natural Resources Management.
Main content
The course language is English, and the course is now open for national as well as international applicants. The course starts 1 February 2013 and will be recognised as 10 credit points. Deadline for application is 10 January 2013.
During the course students learn to manage a number of natural resources. The course is interactive and makes extensive use of animations, simulators, simulation models, multi-player games and videos.
Professor Erling Moxnes is resposible for the course, which he has developed in collaboration with experts from the US, Switzerland, and the Centre for Continuing Education, UiB.
The development process have partly been funded by Norway Opening Universities (NOU), (Norgesuniversitetet (NUV)).
