This panel discussion explores youth-driven protest movements in Nepal, Madagascar and Kenya, examining their causes, political significance and use of social media to mobilise.
While these protests are often grouped under a shared “Gen Z” label, the panel will critically assess whether this overarching narrative obscures important national, social and political differences.
