NMR training
To use the NMR laboratory you need training. The level of training depends on the usage and can be anything from a 30 minutes introduction to a 10 ECTS course.

Liquid-state Automations
For most users, it will be For de fleste brukere vil det være tilstrekkelig å bruke instrumentene med full automasjon, og for this only a short training is required. This applies for the 60 MHz, 600 MHz, and 850 MHz.
For the 600 MHz og 850 MHz the training consists of a 2-hours user course. When the training is completed the user can acquire standard NMR spectra with the automation software IconNMR. Extra training can be given to give access to more advanced possibilities. The training course is given on demand, typically a few times per term. Contact Jarl Underhaug for training.
To use the 60 MHz benchtop spectrometeret only a short introduction is required. Contact Nils Åge Frøystein for training.
TopSpin
To be able to fully utilize the potential of the NMR instruments, NMR knowledge equivalent to KJEM351 is required. Users with this knowledge can control the spectrometers manually using TopSpin, i.e. without using the automation software.
Solid-state NMR and MRI
To use the 500 MHz wide-bore instrumentet knowledge equivalent to KJEM351 in addition to a personalized training is required.
