Applied and Computational Mathematics

In our group of applied and computational mathematics (anvendt og beregningsorientert matematikk, ABM), important research areas are: fluid mechanics and ocean modeling, industrial mathematics and reservoir simulations, image processing, geometric integration and scientific computing.

Pure mathematics

In pure mathematics we are interested in and conduct research on mathematical problems ranging from classical questions to contemporary issues in theoretical physics.
